My 3456 equipment consists of a Down East Microwave transverter and a Toshiba 40W linear amplifier obtained from eBay seller "PyroJoseph".

Like my 2304 transverter, this was assembled from a kit and integrated with the amplifier in the spring of 2005. It also made it on the air for the first time in the 2005 ARRL June VHF+ contest.

This amplifier shouldn't be driven with much more than 12v, so a pair of diodes is used to drop the (usually) 13.8v down a bit. A small mounting bracket provides a secure attachment for the N connector.
