We have now planned a weekend social drive to Paynesville/Eagle Point to visit club member Ray English’s memorial to all things Sprite: his unique collection of literature, models and ephemera. Ray uses this as a basis for his newsletter "Marque one" which has subscribers from around the world.

The drive will take place over the weekend of November 25^th and 26^th. We will travel from Melbourne via back roads (sealed) on the way to Paynesville for a Saturday evening stopover. We’ll visit Ray’s collection on the Sunday morning and return to Melbourne via the Princes Highway. If you are interested incoming along please let me know.

We’re hoping to include

• Visit to new Gippsland Vehicle Collection at Maffra
• Saturday lunch at the renown Tinamba Pub
• Clock museum and private car collection at Bairnsdale

If you can’t come for the whole weekend, sneak down early on the Sunday and make a day of it.
