Well Friday the 7^th of July was a dark and rainy night to go out for a meeting, but even so we had 42 attendees, though only 39 signed the meeting book.

Greg and Neil were the combined guest speakers, filling us in on how in less than a year they bought the car, well Greg bought the car, and went on to compete in the Grand Prix

(formerly Dutton’s) Rally.

It was an excellent presentation, complete with maps, books and multimedia which refused to mult!.

The beautiful white Bugeye of Greg was a pleasure to behold, and as Greg said, very standard, and a favourite with crowds, Peter Brock, Grand Prix commentators, the crew and of course our President wherever it went on the Rally

They had such a good time several people were thinking "is there a Club category" so a bunch of us could be a team

From a projected 30 minute presentation, we were kept enthralled for nearly an hour, which allowed the supper, turkish bread and pastizzi, to cremate to perfection.

Raffle prizes were Penrite products worth some $30 and an aluminium CD box or lunch box or tool box, container, that’s the word, valued at $25, won by Jeff Smith and Col Wallace respectively. Make sure you shake Cols hand, he’s lucky, that’s his second raffle win this year!
